I heard a caller to C-SPAN use this term this morning. I wondered where that term came from? Just listening to a bit of Limbaugh this morning and he used the term 3 or 4 times....So when you hear someone say that, you know where it came from. "Drive-by" media? Yeah, that's the ticket.

1. This is a total Limbaughism.... |

He coined "Drive-by media".
He claims that the media takes "shots" at conservatives and Republicans--and then moves on--and then soon they're "driving by" again and taking another "shot".
What a frickin joke.
Rush and his rich, white, flabby audience members are just soooo-the-victims.
We do have a "drive-by" media. They're certainly aren't victimizing the Republicans. They're not reporting enough on their crimes--or deep enough.
It certainly wasn't the "drive-by" media that showed up during the lead up to the Iraq war and during "Shock and Awe." They were all over that one...selling America a big, exciting war, complete with a fireworks display. They certainly weren't "driving by" then. They planted themselves firmly on the White House grounds and did whatever the administration said. They were cheerleaders for death and this went on for months.
Rush is a complete whiny-candy-ass when it comes to the media.
