Chimpy lectures China on economic responsibility...
Bush urges China to respect trade rules

WASHINGTON (AFP) - US President George W. Bush urged China to play by the rules when it comes to trade, a week ahead of his scheduled meeting with Chinese President Hu Jintao.

"One country that can show the world that it means to be a trading partner that plays by the rules is China," Bush said at a speech to business leaders here.

The US president said he was pleased to welcome Hu here on April 20: "America values China as a trading partner, but we expect China to live up to its commitments," Bush said.

"China needs to make itself more transparent. China needs to enforce intellectual property rights. China needs to take additional steps to address the trade imbalance between our countries. And China needs to move to a flexible market-based currency," Bush added.

"...and for things to be fair, China needs to saddle itself with astronomitomical debts, and China needs to shrink its manufacturin' sector down to nuthin', and China needs to git herself a government that'll loot its treasury and divert the funds into the pockets of its wealthiest citizens, and China needs to do this, and China needs to do that...and then--and only then--will China get to duplicate the fiscal successes of my own administration!"

1. I like Denis Leary's old stand-up bit:
"Talk about the pot and the fucking kettle!!!" Smirky Chimpington needs to get his head out of his ass (or whoever's ass it is). He's really saying that China needs to do as he says, not as he does. :spank:

11. The Chinese are laughing all the waaaaaay to the Bank........
Bush is so smart.....he thinks.....

China has had some bad Rulers in the Long Past of hers....

She has evolved over the years to the point of having some very wise Leaders...in place now....Wise to the point of making good economic decisions....she is prospering, building, coping, enjoying, etc...advancing even...from a backward country only a few years ago...read Paul Theaurou THE IRON ROOSTER

BUSH, ON THE OTHER HAND, is the result of how we choose our Leader....clearly shows we at a disadvantage in the brains dept... They go to the bank to DEPOSIT and we go to BORROW...Dammmmnmnnn

You know this administration isn't capable of honesty, that there is OBVIOUSLY more wrong with our economy than China and that he has about a snowball's chance in hell of getting them to do anything they haven't already planned to. This is b.s. meant to appease the angry under-employed.

Edit to add: I forgot to say, this proves they're still outside the reality bubble!

7. LOL
Economic responsibilty begins at home.

I would just love to see some responsible corporations .

Or some responsible laws that didnt always favor a few on top. Wouldnt that be a change?

Ethics is really the word Im lookin for here, but the two go hand in hand.

10. Our grandchildren will be paying off the debt this asshole rung up.

And he started with a budget surplus!!

What an idiot. He was a failure as a business man. And he has no place trying to tell anyone at all about economics. He couldn't run a lemonade stand.
