2. Nothing unexpected here.
Judge Walton had made an order to Team Libby regarding a defense filing. Ex Parte simply means they alone are "presenting" to the court. This document merely indicates that Team Libby is putting a lot of hours in, on a variety of issues on the case. It mentions, for example, the expected filings by the numerous journalists' Motions to Quash .... because no journalist wants to be on the witness stand in this case.

Team Libby is going to be letting Judge Walton know some of their possible strategies for the trial. All things are good right now.

3. thank you,
sometimes with these things I dont' know if it is something big or small, but I guess in Libby trial there is no such thing as "small" happenings.

4. Right.
It's all important. But this is nothing to worry about. Right now, our side is exactly where we want to be. There are two groups that have significant reason for anxiety and discomfort. For the sake of our discussions, we shall call them: {1} the Office of the President; and {2} the Office of the Vice President.
