Anyone know what income a single, unmarried person, no kids would need before the AMT tax kicks in? I'll be fine this year, but I fear that my new job might push me over the edge in a year or two.

and the program will notify you if you need to go the AMT route.
That's what we have done for years.
If you have to pay the quarterly AMT -- TurboTax will print the forms.
Slick way for the GOP to raise taxes on the middle class.
