I just finished watching this week's "NOW"
it was all about the abortion ban in South Dakota. Nothing I didn't already know about the crazy anti-choicers but I still managed to yell at the TV for the entire program.

If they had their way we would be left with no contraceptives and back alley abortions...it's a chilling look at what these people want to do to women

1. i have the same "yelling" at the tv/radio thing going on. I cant
even watch Bu$h. As soon as I see him I satrt in. My dad screams "oh fuck him" then gives the screen the finger and storms out. He cant even be in the same room where the TV is if Bu$h is speaking.

2. That makes three of us!
I find myself continually saying out loud, even when I'm alone, "bullshit", "fucking liar".

3. My roommates always give me a "look"
when I start yelling at the TV. I know I just shouldn't watch these things, but I can't help myself. It's like a car wreck, I can't look away!

4. Im the same way with these reich-wing talk radio. I KNOW I
shouldnt listen, but I feel that I "must" in order to see what their latest talking point is so I can defend myself "when rethuglicans attack."

I go completely bat shit crazy listening to LImbaugh or Hannity or Medved, etc etc. Its bad for my health.

5. My poor dog runs out of the room and hides! She is my clear signal
of distress!

6. LOL - too funny
My pooch tries to come over and comfort me - he generally never bothers me (he's 14 years old) unless there is a thunderstorm or hurricane in the area and HE wants solace.

7. I'm watching it now. This is amazing!
I'm watching this lady who runs an "Abstinence Clearinghouse". Teenage girls participating in "Purity Balls" chaperoned by their fathers. The Balls end with a "virginity pledge". It will be a "wedding gift for their future husband".

Woo Hoo! South Dakota is looking like a laughingstock.

9. I've advised my teenage daughter
to make sure she sleeps with the man she plans on marrying before they marry -- with all the protection available, of course. I want her to be happy in her marriage. :)

11. Those "Purity Balls" were creepy

I thought those girls making that pledge to their fathers was just weird.

And that Leslie Unruh. Ugh. Creep.

8. I couldn't believe the claim of Leslee Unruh that by taking away
a woman's right to choose it was giving them back their freedom. That and the fact that they think that the only sex education children need is abstinence and the failure rate of condoms. Unbelievable. Way to go South Dakota!

10. Why do some people want to control other's and then tell 'em
they have a freedom which we must defend?
