He Hears Voices, He Hears Voices (But Is He Really Listening?)
George Bush likes to say that he listens to the commanders on the ground when it comes to making decisions about Iraq.

I guess he should revise his previous remarks to say he only listens to them when their thinking mirrors his own, or when it suits his own interests.

Today, Bush issued a strong statement of support for Defense Secretary Donanld Rumsfeld, amid continuing calls from a growning number of retired military commanders for Rummy's resignation.

Bush said: "Earlier today, I spoke with Don Rumsfeld about ongoing military operations in the global war on terror." (Read: Nowhere in our conversation did the name Osama bin Laden come up. Because who cares about him? I did talk to Rummy, however, about the coming war in Iran).

He then went on to say: "I reiterated my strong support for his leadership during this historic and challenging time for our nation."

A senior member of the Bush Crime Team said that the Idiot Son felt a statement on Rummy was warrented, due to the "types of voices" that have been speaking out lately.

"Types of voices?" Just for the record, Bushie, those voices you hear are from retired military commanders who have led our troops in combat. You know, the same military commanders that you claim to respect and listen to.

But I guess when you don't like what they have to say, they're just reduced to those "types of voices."

2. unless some lowly staffer put those
'types of voices' on a DVD and slid it under the door, I seriously doubt he has heard any of it.

jeebus, he didn't even see what was going on in New Orleans until they prepped a DVD for him! The man is the least informed person in the country.

3. Isn't that the most sickening thing?
In the midst of the greatest natural disaster to ever hit this country, the 'President' has to be shown a DVD to make him see the reality of what was happening.

Amazing.
