1. I'll wager that covert operatives have been there since the Iraq War began
It's too convenient when the country's next door and you're already dressed for war...

11. I am with you on this. I also feel Bush will not go to Congress this
war, as I think he knows he will not get an OK but he can plan on a Republican Congress not doing any thing to him once he does it.

3. Congress should be making noise
SHOULD be.... doesn't mean they will.

The unitary (a nice word for dictatorial) executive
is out of control... and Bush needs to be called
into Congress to explain his illegal actions ...and he
must be restrained - this is just plain ridiculous
and CRIMINAL

6. Don't forget..
.. that Bush and Congress have some kind of sick symbiotic
relationship.

Bush rubberstamps any crazy bill Congress gives him, and
Congress sits back and approves Bush's crazy warplans.

And none of it is even close to human or rational.

5. I'm sure we have had covert operations in Iran since the Shah fall
in some form or fashion.

So I don't think that's going to be a real surprise to most Americans

7. And If at least one is captured, all hell will break loose
I can see the public trial that the Iranians are going to put on for all the world to see. And the execution once a guilty verdict is announced.

The more the military allows itself to be used as cannon fodder, the less respect I have for them.

Please, no cries about how they are only following orders and have no choice, the "I was following
orders" excuse died at Nuremberg, and there is always a choice, it just depends on how truly brave you really are.

Facing an enemy on the battlefield, while courageous, is still not as brave as saying no when you realize that something isn't right. Jesus Christ, Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, that's
courage.

Following orders blindly, still makes you blind.

10. Good rant -- I agree
And if there is indeed the military option on the table to use Nukes in Iran -- and the military carries out this whacked out plan -- then everyone who "follows orders" of the insane sub-human in the white house is as guilty as he is.

I learned from reading a review of the film "The Last Hangman" that the Nazis were hung in assembly line fashion -- after being judged and found guilty by a jury. They were hung by the winners of WWII.

And that might me the answer right there -- the "winners" can do what ever the hell they please. Perhaps it is best if no nation is the ultimate winner -- perhaps M.A.D. is the best defense???

I am always reminded that America -- the United States has bloody past. First millions of Indians were eradicated (poisoned, murdered, starved, given diseased blankets, etc.). The Civil War was responsible for the death of millions.

Then the US began to engage in world domination -- Cuba, Philippines, Hawaii etc. People died and more will die because of the direct actions of the United States. Now the bushie war excuse is if they "think about it or know about nukes -- or WMD" the US will attack and murder lots and lots of people.

Isn't it just great that the adults are in charge??
