Edited on Sat Apr-15-06 12:26 PM by KzooDem
In Seymour Hersch's article in New Yorker magazine about the chilling propensity with which Bush wants to go radiate Iran with nukes, he states that (and I'm paraphrasing here)his sources indicate Bush has already started talking to senators, including one Democrat.

My money is on that two-faced DINO from CT, Lieberman. Who do YOU think it is??

2. The Senator From CT would Be My Guess
His devotion to Israel is total.

Iran is not a threat directly to us right now.

We don't want them to become a threat to us either.

but they are a threat to Israel now.

3. Could be Lieberman but sometimes I think it must be that faux
democrat who has voted with the republicans 87% of the time, Nebraska's Ben Nelson.

7. Well of course it is Joe (DINO, ct. )
The only question is just who are Holy Joe's actual constituents that he thinks he is representing?

The best thing that could come out of this is that they toss rummy over the transom and put Jomo in his place.

10. I'm curious why Hersch didn't allude to this in his article....
Certainly he couldn't come right out and say it without confirmation of it, but there are certainly ways he could allude to it without sacrificing journalistic integrity.
