KUWAIT CITY - Kuwaiti police have arrested a member of the ruling Al Sabah family with a large drugs haul, including at least 10 kilogrammes (22 pounds) of cocaine, newspapers reported on Friday.

Al Qabas newspaper quoted unnamed security sources as saying the prince, whose name was not revealed, also had 120 kilogrammes (264 pounds) of hashish.

His arrest came at the orders of Interior and Defence Minister, Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Sabah, who is a leading figure in the ruling family. snip
