on the off chance that a democrat wins in 2008,
and the democrat asks the shrubbies for all documents related to 9/11 and the war on terror and the plane outing and spygate and so on ....

surely the shrubbies would refuse to comply. heck, i think i recall bush senior refusing to turn over some national security related info to clinton.

however, given that there's a war on terror that will still be a-ragin', could/should the democratic president arrest, detain, deprive attorney contact, and torture the shrubbies for information? OBVIOUSLY, they've based their ENTIRE legitimacy on the notion that they have all this information, and surely that information would be important to a democratic president, too.....

right?

3. see reply #2 ...
perhaps i should have said, "on the off chance that they LET a democrat win"?

i'm very optimistic about our political chances, i think a democrat will get more votes for the 5th presidential election in a row in 2008.

but occupying the oval office afterward is a whole nother ballgame.

2. I'm getting pretty sure that they're banking on nevery allowing a free and
fair election again, so this scenario would never occur.
