And End To The Abortion Debate Is In Sight
All the Democrats have to do is accede to a single Republican idea and the question of abortion can be erased from our national dialog. The Republicans will agree that abortions will be available on demand to any woman over the age of 13 without the consent of anyone and with no wait. The Democrats will agree that all females between the age os 9 and 90 will wear a chastity belt, the single key to which will be held in trust by a Protestant minister (no papist need apply) to be delivered to the woman's husband on wedding day and to be surrender to said minister on event of divorce.

Everyone's happy. Whaddaya think?

8. As A Lowly Female You Surely Know This
Edited on Sat Apr-15-06 06:44 PM by ThomWV
From the point of view of the Republican facist right the debate has nothing to do with restricting abortion. They do not want to stop women from having abortions, they want to stop women from having sex other than within the confines of wedlock.

9. Reframe the issue of choice
Instead of talking about abortion, talk about sex education and the availability of birth control. All the Dems have to do is ask if the American people want to disallow the sale of birth control devices, and see what happens. We can point to MO, where the repukes in power have forbidden Medicaid money be used for birth control. Is this the direction they want the country to go? I think you know the answer.

15. I heard from someone on the tube the other day that banning abortion
is not really the end of the repuke's battle on the issue. What they're REALLY trying to do is OUTLAW CONTRACEPTION. Isn't that lovely? WTF are they thinking?

Give 'em abortion, contraception is next. THEN WHAT???!@#$%$#@

BTW....your idea sucks.....good thing I know yer just jokin'.;)

WOMEN'S CHOICE FOREVER!
