My (NOLA) Neighborhood is Looking Better..but

around the corner there is a colapsed house with rooms exposed (a tree fell on it) and

Then there's THIS desperate rooftop painting




The area is alive with activity. Most of the neighbors are there working or even living back in the area. Some in trailers, some in raised basement style homes.

Where the family who pleaded for help is now, I'll probably never know.

8. I thought so, my son lives in that neighborhood too...looks like
a lot of effort being put into rebuilding there...Have you seen the "nature lake" on Upperline?

5. Thanks for the picture, I wonder what happened with them.
I drove through there a couple wks ago, seemed like there was a lot happening. Traffic lights, cars, lots of gutting going on. How are YOU doing?
