Anyone see the trailers for the soon to be box office hit? Flight 93, is |
coming to a theater near you. This should get out the puke votes. Call me tin hat wearer, but get ready for more pro shrub movies. 9/11 when real american hero's were made. Yep stuff like this plays to both base and fence sitters.

3. yeah, but documentaries are a whole other thing |
this looks like a total yawning festival regardless of your fence-sitting orientation.
the part that kills me in the trailer is having the director SELL the concept. 'i had to make this movie because... blah blah... " it doen't bode well.

4. Yeah, George Washington vs cherry tree, honest Abe, I'm not a crook, |
when truth vs myth always print the myth. Like the founding fathers were nothing but poor farmers trying to avoid King Georges taxes. Or the mid night ride of Paul Revere, who never warned one colonist because he was stopped and held on the out skirts of Boston. American history is filled with myth that never happened, Custers last stand didn't happen the way history books claim.

2. It just seems sort of grotesque to me. |
I figured they'd make a movie about 9/11 sooner or later. Maybe once history puts some real distance between 9/11 and me I'll change my opinion, but the premise doesn't appeal to me, and it's not really something that I'd want to watch.

10. Its not reality. Not one of us knows what happened on that plane |
and a movie about it will just be entertainment piece.

5. Let's see the movie before we beat up on it |
I still remember all of the conservatives trashing F. 9/11 before they had ever seen it. That's not right.
I will see the movie, and form an opinion about it afterward.

9. Remember the Titanic? They made all the men sound like hero's for giving |
up their seats in life boats, but truth was just as many were trying to get into life boats as those that decided to stay with the ship. BTW, those men, women and children in steerage class were never given that decision, it was only first and second class that made it to the life boats. Yet to this day the myth is still there.
