10. Notice how the host will correct incorrect info about Newt...
but never does that for lies about Democrats.

That said, Newtie's fan club is really out in force; the worshippers who call in to say how brilliant he is. :eyes:

13. Like Condi, Newt is a third-rate "intellectual."
Of course, they are both touted as near-geniuses by the right, because they are the best the right can cough up, apparently.

17. I do recall Newt always quoting some one that was a real light weight.
Rice seems smart but I think she is more of less for the power. She seems to be in a place because of what she is and has used it well. Like Powell son. They have jobs because of who they are and know and not what they do. But then some one like Bush would used people like that. You go with like types if you know what what I mean. Newt is just out for power and has also used it well to get rich. I do not think he is a first class thinker like the Sen,. from NY who wrote all the books.

24. I really don't see Condi as all that smart.
I've never seen her develop an idea or represent herself well in interviews. Clearly, she has enough intelligence to get a Ph.D., but I know many people who've got one who are good students but don't have exceptional minds (and many who don't have a Ph.D. who are far more insightful and knowledgeable in discussion). Her real talent seems to be in finding people who will promote her and willingly selling their BS.

25. Yar your right. But you have to know something to get a phd.
I think you are talking about a way of thinking. Bush got a masters so I do not feel is stupid, but he also is not a real thinkers. Like how he got rich. It was not with an idea but knowing the right people and selling his name. His father did not even make his but really increased his. MaCain is the same. These type people just do not seem to produce that type of smarts I think you are talking about.

Now there's a classic.
