Sort of. I have gambled at the Coushatta Casino in Kinder, Louisiana. The money I lost went to the Coushatta tribe, which in turn gave a portion of their money to Republican Lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Does that make me a party to a crime? :)

Why gamble?

I swore off gambling about ten years ago. I sat down and thought about what gambling is, who owns it , who runs it and where the money goes.

I answered all of those questions myself. (i is smu art)

gambling is losing money.

the mafia always has and always will own it until the biggest mafia of them all gets ahold of it - thats right, the government.

Who runs it - the mafia and the republicans. all mafia are republicans - its a fact. who hates taxes more than republicans? The mafia.

The money goes into the repugnats pockets.

hmmmm, I guess I sounded a little sanctimonious. let me clarify if I can. I like to gamble. It IS fun. Texas Hold em is an awesome game and I'll play that until the cows come home.

I won't step foot into a casino though. The odds are stacked against you and I hate to turn my very hard earned money over to crooks.

And yes some of the tribes are republican. Look at who they were working with. Look a who allowed gambling in the State in the first place. Republican CONTROL Gambling and I'm not about to hand over 1 penny to a repugnant.

12. Well, I grew up "digging ditches" with one of these bums on "the list"

Though I think this certain Indiana congress critter is actually on Tom Delay's list rather than Abramoff. Used to work with him doing landscape work in the same housing development we both lived in which his uncle (and my Dad's boss) was developing at the time when we were both kids. So I probably have more "associations" with these Turkeys than you all did. Never did care much for that family then, and even less so now. His dad helped him get rich inheriting a pool cleaning supplies operation. Bet some folks probably would have told him he would have been better off trying to clean up the GOP instead! Just for that, he'll probably wind up being more likely to return to "digging ditches" in the future than I am, even though he's one of the more wealthy congress critters now.
