5. Watch for another big drop in B*sh's poll numbers. |
|
That's the only good thing about it. But the frightening thing is thinking about what he's planning on doing, to get Americans to fall back into line.

6. I watched people filling up SUV's at Costco tonight. Took them a while. |
|
All had glum faces. I just wonder what they were thinking when they bought them.

have alot more to worry about than just the cost of a fill-up. And I think he may be right. It isn't just about th cost of a fill-up, but the inflation in every other damn thing. And how the economy suffers when people have to divert discretionary income into paying for gas and the inflated prices.

11. They weren't thinking. That's the problem. |
|
The car manufacturers made a market for these P-O-S-SUVs, and Americans bought it.
Who knew that the economy would correct itself or that terrorists would strike?
Who knew that they would vote in a kleptocracy?

and didn't any of them live threw the last crisis? Didn't any of them know that oil is a finite resource? There must be more to this story.

17. That's easy. They buy these with the hope that they are |
|
magic.
No kidding. "Hey, if I buy this then everything will be okay: good old American Dream. Everything will be like it was 5 years ago. It's all illusion.
That's what the advertisers tell them. Big car = big sack. Screw the little guy. I'm bad!
Those that buy the SUV now may still have enough of a disposable income but how about in 2 years from now?

23. Don't forget that these vehicles were bought for zero (0)% |
|
interest. People thought they were getting a great deal. We have a POS little pickup here on the farm and I was thinking today, well, even mentioned to my husband that he needs to tool on it so we can drive it more, probably gets great mileage. There should be a premium on all POS vehicles that get good mileage. Talk about a turn around from the status SUV to mini cars.

22. Yup, the only thing that repubs comprehend |
|
Getting into their pockets really hurts them. Not wars (they seem to get a mental buzz from wars, could their life be so dull?), troops dying, our image in the crapper, rights being ripped (they don't even care about their rights since they are law abiding, wait until the cops bust into their house and search after a neighbor turns them in for drugs, oh, and without a warrant). Damn their selfish, arrogant, mindless repubs. ways. It's almost funny, the repubs love their tax breaks and now they will pay dearly for gas that is higher than the tax breaks, all because of bush's wars and war plans.

All those screaming yo-yo's do is yell and scream on the floor of the exchange every day, driving up the price of oil.
They should get real jobs.
