6. I think it's pretty damned funny

He snarks on celebrity instead of politics. I find it similar to the Daily Show, except as an "Entertainment Tonight" parody, instead of a news parody. His first couple shows did some great "investigative reports" a la Ed Helms, into Scientology, etc. Spade may have heard he has a particularly smarmy persona, which is why the newest installment features lots of self-deprecating humor. Which is good...he needs to be deprecated.

I've always liked Spade. His sarcastic cynical sense of humor is alot like mine. I was enough of a fan to see "Dicky Roberts" - now that's saying something.
