Monica Crowly DEFENDS Rumsfeld

I don't know if anyone saw Imus this morning, but Crowly was on there and I thought she was going to burst at the seams with her enthusiastic support of Rumsfeld. I thought she was supposed to be a "journalist," obviously she has an agenda.

2. She was disgusting on IMUS and should not go to "The Big Easy"
Anytime soon. She made fun of the NO Mayoral candidate's debate moderated by Chris Matthews. Stating words to the effect that "What can you say when NAGIN came out on top!?!"

She's putrid paid off whore MEDIA scum! I hope someone calls her on her disrespect when she again visits St. Bernard Parish. :grr:

12. But Imus kicked her ass.....
when she said, "You suppported this war at first...." He said..... No way. Never. He also said why should we believe ANYTHING the AWOL/moron administration says now when they have been wrong about.... EVERYTHING? The plagerist then repeated the wing-nut meme.... "What wars have we had when some things don't go wrong?"

The answer to that is... EVERYTHING has gone wrong in this war. Not some things..... EVERYTHING.

7. Crowley worked for Nixon - she's one of Rummy's buddies.
She is NOT a journalist, but a former insider with an agenda - everything she says will be in defense of Bushco. Oh - she's also a plagiarist. :D

Her bio:

Masters degree in Political Science from Colgate University in 1990, she became Foreign Policy Assistant to former President Richard Nixon, a post she held from 1990 until his death in 1994. She was an editorial adviser and consultant on his last two books, Seize the Moment (1992) and Beyond Peace (1994). Crowley used this period to record her conversations and observations about Nixon (she kept a diary), and she published two subsequent books on the former President in his final years: Nixon Off the Record: His Candid Commentary on People (1996), and Nixon in Winter (1998).

In 1996, she joined Fox News Channel, where she was a foreign affairs and political analyst. She received her PhD in International Affairs from Columbia University in this period.

In 2004, she joined MSNBC's "Connected: Coast to Coast" with co-host Ron Reagan. After a nine month run, the last show ran on December 9, 2005.

In 1999 Crowley allegedly plagiarized part of an article she wrote for the Wall Street Journal (August 9, 1999), called "The Day Nixon Said Goodbye". The Journal ran an apology the same week. Timothy Noah of Slate Magazine later wrote of the striking similarities in her article to phrases Paul Johnson used in his 1988 article for Commentary Magazine called "In Praise of Richard Nixon". Criticism was not widespread at the time, but it was repeated in such forums as the TheMediaDrop.com in December 2004 following her decision to join MSNBC.

8. She said " what kind of message does this send the enemy?"
What kind of message does it send now? We are chasing our tails over there... Perhaps new leadership would get the job done.

9. She's a happy faced liar...
it was darn ugly to witness.. all the breathless Rummy slobbering.
It's just shocking when you see these Republican flaks lie so
brashly and effortlessly. They really are full of shit, aren't they.

10. No doubt, she kept saying "We're at WAR! In a Time of WAR!"
Rinse and repeat.

That woman was so horrible on the show she had with Ron Reagan at MSNBC. She is the SOLE reason I wouldn't watch it. :puke:
