Our Gas Shot Up Again Last Nite - Anyone Else? |
|
We had made it down to 2.619 and last nite it went right back up to $2.739. I think they are purposefully trying to get it up over $3.00 just so they can make more billions of dollars than they are already making.

2. Under the current conditions, |
|
and our ongoing fear of our government and it's police agencies, it might be wise to keep gassing and shooting from our title lines.....

6. They've hit in the late-morning hours here of late. |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-18-06 10:42 AM by Roland99
Went out for lunch last week and it was $2.56. On the way back it was $2.85. Slowly made it's way down to $2.73 but then back up to $2.95 today.
So, we have actually gone up $1 dollar in the last two months!.
Feb. was $1.95/$1.98 around town.

8. We hit $2.76 yesterday. |
|
How can this be legal? How can you mark up a price for a "potential" shortage?

The station in my neighborhood shopping center has raised the price 2 cents every night for the past 2 weeks. For some reason Exxon Mobil seems to think we won't notice the increase if they do it in small increments every night. The manager told me that they were told to have the price up to $3.40 for regular unleaded by Memorial Day. I live in Northern Virginia.

12. If we had a president |
|
If we had a president he could ask congerss to frezze gas prices at say $3 even if this leads to shortages ( or what the gas companies will say) but the infation of gas prices will not run up the price of other goods & services , and workers can consume at the regular "healthy pace". I'm sure that again that with his grasp on the economy will alow him the foresight in this issue to do what is right. :?
