I called Clinton and Schumer and demanded a call back
Edited on Tue Apr-18-06 11:49 AM by adigal
and so should all of us. We should each go to http://www.vote-smart.org/index.htm and get the name and numbers of our senators, even if it is Orin Hatch, that nutjob, and demand an answer to whether they support invading and nuking Iran. We pay their damn salaries, and I want to know why the hell they have not spoken out on this Iran nonsense and Bush refusing to take nuking Iran off of the table. I want Chuck to tell me why he is being a wuss, not calling the Bush Administration on their lies. Not bringing up the fact that what they are saying now is EXACTLY what they said before Iraq.

Karl Rove is going to laughing all of the way to November victory if our Dems don't call them on their nonsense right now.

Call - leave your number - and demand a call back.

1. I hope you live in New York.
Won't do the rest of us any good to call them. Most of us are not their constituents.

3. Call your own senators
and ask them why the hell they are not loudly and frequently pointing out that this Iran build up is the same damn thing they did with Iraq, except that Bush is not mentioning nukes on Iran for some extra "shock and awe."

6. Why not?? Be a burr under their saddle
and if we get 1000 burrs under each senators' saddle, then maybe they will wake the hell up!

2. I assume these are both your senators.
Consequently, you have some claim on their respone.

I haven't enough brass to demand a senator from New York to call me back here in Wisconsin.

5. Call your own senators, not Feingold, he is doing his job
Call Kohl, and ask his office to have him call you back and explain if he really thinks that Iran is a big threat to us in the next 6 months. And if not, then why the hell isn't he calling Bush on more lies??

9. Herb and I are not on speaking terms. I formally came out against his
re-election. It has placed a barrier between us.
