Have you ever threatened someone you disagree with with death?

I may have put a curse on some wingers or said I wouldn't mind if some wingers I was talking about third person wound up dead. But I've never said to a winger what some have said to me, which is a lot like what Michelle Malkin's pinheaded minions said to the Students Against the War she sicced them on (by publishing their personal phone numbers on her Website, below a rant against their "sedition"). I'll bet a lot of us on DU have received these kinds of threats, whether for defending Bill Clinton at one point or another or for calling Bush on his dishonorable "service" to the country in the Guard, but especially for opposing the war in Iraq:

Doing this can result in institutional discipline (say locking a post on DU) to dismissal in the workplace or even possible civil and criminal charges.

It largely depends on circumstance and the aggressiveness of the someone prosecuting the issue.
