Smiting on a scale not seen since Sodom and Gomorrah

Pat Robertson's God sure has been angry of late, smiting on a scale not seen since Sodom and Gomorrah. First, the Lord collapsed the Twin Towers because of homosexuals, then drowned New Orleans because of abortions, and now He has apparently, according to the kindly Reverend Robertson, blocked a blood vessel in Ariel Sharon's brain as punishment for "dividing God's land."

Excuse me? If divisiveness is such a sin in God's eyes, why is Pat Robertson at 75-years-of-spit-and-vinegar still with us? But perhaps he is onto something. Certainly a surprising number of divisive figures have been brought low of late.

First, there was Harriet Miers, who divided the GOP (God's Own Party) and had her nomination to the Supreme Court struck down. Then Bill O'Reilly was slapped down on Letterman for dividing America, the promised land, over the holiday season.

And finally just this weekend, Tom DeLay, who re-divided political districts in Texas and lobbyists on K-Street, was permanently removed from his post as majority leader.

1. It doesn't bother Holy-Pat that some of that land is being given....
to him and a bunch of other evanhellical nutzo's to build a "holy land amusement park" on "god's sacred land". :eyes: Yep, god's angry if Sharon gives any land for a Palestinian Home State, but for a christo-fascist amusement park......everything's AOK in the big guy's book.

Why would the Israeli's allow this stupid amusement park in the first place? They don't believe jesus was the son of god so why let these radical christian clerics build an amusement park that will do nothing but laud a guy they don't believe in?
I can just see it now; the "jesus log flume ride", walk on the water if you can! The "doubting Thomas roller coaster", see if you can retain your faith through the entire ride! The "sodom and gomorrah" tunnel of love, will you be turned into a pillar of salt?

Yes, the christo-fascist amusement park. Sure to be a big hit as you're dodging suicide bombers and AK-47 fire! :woohoo:

2. George Bush and the Pat Robertson Republicans DO NOT want peace
in The Middle East.

They believe the only way Christ can come back is by war in Israel which will destroy the world-- starting with killing all the Jews, of course.

All of Bush's "failed" Middle East policy is not a failure in his eyes.

Making us less safe is not a failure in his eyes.

Everything Bush has done has been to intentionally make the world less safe, less stable, and to move us closer to the brink of a Global Apocalypse.
