Brit Hume goes after General Zinni

Zinni's Zinger?
Tuesday, April 18, 2006
By Brit Hume

Former Clinton CENTCOM commander, Anthony Zinni — the most prominent of the retired generals attacking Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld — now says that, in the run-up to the war in Iraq, "What bothered me ... (was that) I was hearing a depiction of the intelligence that didn't fit what I knew. There was no solid proof, that I ever saw, that Saddam had WMD."

But in early 2000, Zinni told Congress "Iraq remains the most significant near-term threat to U.S. interests in the Arabian Gulf region," adding, "Iraq probably is continuing clandestine nuclear research, (and) retains stocks of chemical and biological munitions ... Even if Baghdad reversed its course and surrendered all WMD capabilities, it retains scientific, technical, and industrial infrastructure to replace agents and munitions within weeks or months."

3. Shit Fume is on BushCo payroll* & as such, deserves no read beyond
the first paragraphs.

*I am assuming Shit is on the * payroll b/c he constantly gives the * RW talking points and no amount of official documents or statements of experts who AREN't chickenhawks and AREN't BushCo shills have ever convinced him of the truth. Ergo, he is no journalist but a BushCo lackey and I believe he's taking $$$ from BushCo.

6. That doesn't come from being on the Frat Boy's payroll
It comes from being on Rupert Murdoch's payroll.

Zinni's comments about the intelligence he saw in 2002 and 2003 is in question because of something he said in 2000???

How many gallons of kool-aid would I need to drink for this to make sense?

truth, with head held high and refusing to compromise, no sleazy partial or selective proof?

So, I am supposed to accept, on the word of a known compromised regurgitator, that Gen. Zinni's only claim to fame was as centcom commander during Clinton's presidency? Did he just suddenly spring into existence, with no other history?
I would think that mr. FOXfeces would figure out he has already won over all the knuckle draggers who are apt to be taken in by this transparent deception and that he needs a more sophisticated lying program to get his numbers up.

Given that, in the US, a murder is committed every three minutes, that the business involved in criminal enterprise, in all its horror and misery, is a multiple hundred billion dollar undertaking, it is hardly surprising that bush's level of support is still as high as it is.

I'd be willing to bet there are thousands of humans who are now fascinated by politics but were never even aware of that filthy game before.
In bush they have found a kindred spirit, a like minded associate, such that bush's numbers may never be likely to approach those of nixon, who actually had a conscience, shriveled and smelly, but it did exist.

"The end always justifies the means" is the mantra of criminals, from murder to shoplifting and that includes the likes of Hume, tweety hairball, hannity and cuz, on and on, and they constitute a network that nixon never dreamed of.
