Regarding that ad that blames Dems for putting the felony provision in |
|
the immigration bill?
Recall a few days ago there was discussion on the board about ads that were to run in the SW. Basically, the ads blamed the Dems for the felony issue--said it was Dems that did it.
Well, Harry Reid's office is trying to get the ads off the air (although I am not sure they are airing at this point). Left and Right guests were just shooting it out on Fox (Neil G.). The Right continued to say that the Dems stopped an amendment that Sensennbrenner put out that would reduce penalty from felony to misnomeanner. The Left quest said that the Dems blocked that amendment cause they wanted no penalty.

2. I had not heard a follow up and was glad to see that Reid is onto it. |

3. It doesn't matter that the Dems were trying to block any penalty. What |
|
matters is that the GOP wanted, first a felony, and they PASSED it with NO Democrats voting for it. We should be yelling from the roof tops that Democrats didn't vote for it...it's 100% a Repuke bill.

4. I believe Dean said on Schultz that they would be running ads... |
|
about this. He said they would be answering those ads.
