I'm DAMN glad Bush grabbed the Chinese President. Why ?
Because NOW it is glaringly obvious to all but the delusional kool-aid drinkers and/or uncouth barbarians that this LUMP OF ORGANIC TISSUE is not suitable for President. And, IT IS PHOTOGRAPHED. Try to let the Republican shills/prostitutes spin it away.

I just hope and pray that we can heal this breach with the Chinese quickly.

7. I'm sure it was because neither speaks the other's language,
and Shrub wanted to tell Hu that it was the wrong steps, but geesh, cause an international incident why don't ya!

I really hate to say this, but I'd bet Clinton would have found a much more acceptable and diplomatic way to steer the Pres. of China in the right direction! I just hate to always compare the 2 men in public!

and those who work for him can't even get the nation's name or national anthem correct.

Foreign Diplomacy? Nah! Why bother? :nuke: :sarcasm:

Am so angry. The Decider has no shame.

Wonder what gaffe he'll pull tomorrow?

27. I used "gravestone" instead of "tombstone" to avoid the
obvious reference.

To be clearer:

I wouldn't be unhappy if my tombstone had those words on it. May I borrow it?

18. After reading that thread - what a freakin' retard.
I have NEVER seen such a breach of protocol between heads of state - the only recent equivalent I can think of is poppy Bush puking at a Japanese state dinner. There was an uproar over picture that allegedly showed Paul Keating touching the Queen's rear end (I know, it sounds absurd in retrospect) but that turned out to be a matter of perspective.

And the fact that he should do this to the head of state of CHINA, easily the most important power on Earth after the USA, and one that maintains scrupulous regard for protocol, respect and conduct. What a shithead. Hu's expression says it all - surprise, alarm, disgust. The Chinese press will ride to town and back on this "yanqui arrogance".

5. He's spinning out of control.
It's too late to think even of impeachment. It's time for reps from Congress and the Pentagon (a coup going on there too about Rummy) to demand his and Cheney's resignation immediately or else.

31. I do believe
you are right. Now, I believe Bush was rattled from the beginning of this speech. Mr. HuJintao was startled by the loud protesters. I think it threw him off balance, and Bush was probably rattled by it.

We all know Bush does not do "public" very well, so his brain was doing flip-flops, thinking about real dangers with standing out in the open like that.

I think he was just trying to be Mr. Hu's rescuer in the photo.

Of course, no one can do it with less style and finesse than Bush.

Is there any conceivable way it can be spun to have been acceptable, like he was trying to grab his elbow (is that ok?)

Do you have one of Barney trying to escape the Frat Boy's clutches? I think there's one like that.
