Can you imagine in private circles what Republicans are saying about Bush? |
|
Now that the tide has turned on them, I bet they hate their man almost as much as we do, especially the ones going up for re-election. I bet they have some choice words for him among themselves when no one else can hear them. One can only imagine what they're saying. I would venture to guess that one of their nouns of choice, when discussing their fearless leader, is "disgrace". I would also venture to guess that a sentence that's very commonly heard behind closed Republican doors is, "That asshole is going to cost me my job!"
LOL

3. Might I add just this: |
|
Where I come from, in the coal region country of PA, when something breaks, it's designated in a very specific way.
As in, "Our goddamned hot water heater shit the bed."
I'd like them all to shit their beds before tucking themselves in. Tightly. For a long night.

and the blue green waters and the red and orange and purple sunsets of the Florida Strait. Not to mention the shrimp and lobsters and the mangoes and the key limes and the...never mind! Staying home...

5. the end is nigh when they talk about Bush instead of Jane Fonda |
|
or some other irrelevancy. That's been the trick so far: deflection. Any time they have to stay on the topic of Bush's record, they are going to get really sad really quick.

6. A scene from Starship Troopers comes to mind... |
|
The scene in the end when Neil Patrick Harris is standing in front of a Brain Bug, telepathically interrogating it... He looks up after brief contact with the front of the giant cornered insect juggernaut and says to an eager group of Mobile Infantry troopers: "It's afraid. IT'S AFRAID!"

9. I ran into one of his 33% base today... |
|
Tried to blame everything that's happening in the country on others, expecially the left. Example: she was talking about how this left wing Baptist church carries signs to troops' funerals that say "God Hates the Military." Once I figured out what the hell she was talking about (that goofy minister from Kansas - Phelps?), I laughed out loud and shut her down with the truth. Sheesh. My take: the base is scared shitless. I could see the desparation in her eyes.
