Pic of Cheney sleeping - anyone find the picture??
C-Span's Brian Lamb just showed a newspaper with a picture of Cheney sleeping in a meeting - did anyone catch what newspaper that was in?? I would love to send a pic of that to Hannity who was slamming Ruth Ginsburg for her supposed snooze.

1. I didn't even know about that until Imus and Howard Feinman
just mentioned it. He was sleeping in the presence of Hu? :wow:

4. Didn't you know....

...since the shooting fiasco, Junior regularly slips mega-doses of valium into Unka Dick's morning martini. The administration feels that they're all better off if Dickie is heavily sedated these days.

Can you imagine what would happen if Dick disagreed with Condi or Bolten during a meeting? Limbs would be flying around the room!

Everything's just so funny---until someone shoots an eye out.

8. Same pose I slept in in deadly dull law school classes.

The old, "stare at your book with your hand masking your closed eyes" pose.

If he's not healthy enough to stand like everyone else in the room, why don't they just wheel him in in a wheelchair? Of course, he had the energy to walk through a field to kill some tame birds.

9. oh, i know
I'm not saying he was or wasn't. Actually, I think the first picture is much more indicative of a major disconnect. Why is that man deliberately sitting apart from the group?

12. He can't stand for very long, remember the VP debates?
He had to have it sitting around a table because of his heart condition. If I remember correctly, BOTH 2000 and 2004 VP debates were held seated at a table.

13. But as a matter of basic courtesy he should have been standing ...
... unless he was sleepy from staying up late plotting to overthrown the world. Since most of his plans have worked so well.

10. Why is he barricaded behind all those empty chairs?
Was everyone else sitting down in them and then obliged to stand up for some reason (they're all standing except for Cheney)?

"VEEP ASLEEP: Vice President Dick Cheney gets caught napping yesterday as Defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld and other White House aides leave a press briefing by President Bush and Chinese leader Hu Jintao. The veep's people later insisted he was reading his notes, but if you ask us, it sure looks as if he's dreaming of quail hunting - and maybe bagging some birds this time."

14. Keep dozing, Dick!
Dick has been the only reason BushCo has been able
to cheat two presidential elections and "embiggen"
the Repuke Party.

Nice way to demonstrate your party's current
situation, Dick.

15. I saw the photo shown on CSpan also but didn't get the source.
Thanks to those that found the photo!

For the appointed VP to fall asleep at a press briefing by the Emperor and Chinese leader Hu Jintao shows his puffed up ego and lack of proper upbringing. It is more offensive than was the screaming woman who was arrested and charged yesterday.

20. The undead never sleep!
They just wait until the blood is ripe for the sucking and they chow down...

Those good ole bats like Cheney, are too mean and ugly to punch out early. He's good for another 4564534234567098987.9 years of plundering and pillaging the Earth and the like, before he's done.
