Congress Back In Session Next Week; Enzi Bill Needs to be Stopped
To Anyone who ever might get sick,

Congress is back in session next week finally coming back from the
Easter recess.

Besides the immigration bill one of the first bills that might be
considered is the Health Industry Marketplace Modernization Act better
known as the Enzi legislation.

This bill is an affront to state rights and a step in the wrong
direction for health care coverage in America. For one of the first
times in history federal law is being proposed to LOWER the protections
at the state level. We all want to give small businesses the tools to
purchase more affordable health care but there is no reason why you have
to remove these state protections in order to accomplish that goal.

Diabetes would be excluded along with several other critical ailments
like cancer screenings and all mental health diseases

That is why several state commissioners have come out against it.

The AARP has come out against the legislation
