I came at the end when Andrea Mitchell was wrapping it up..."breaking news...more later".

Rove going to be indicted already today?

1. I missed it too!
I looked on website and there is nothing yet. Top story is crude oil is now over $75.00 per barrel. God it is already $3.00 a gallon here in SE Michigan.

3. Oh how I wish that Rove
would be indicted now. Before he can smear the dems in the 2006 election.

16. I think it is coming.
That is why Rove has had a change in position this week. The truth will come out eventually when we least expect it! Welcome to DU!!

2. A CIA agent was fired for leaking classified info to a reporter.
Andrea Mitchell said that it has nothing to do with Valerie Plame.

5. Yet, the Derider, I mean Decider in Chief won't fire anyone in the WH
for leaking about Plame.

I really don't understand how this alternate universe works. It's worse than Superman's Bizzaro world.

4. I ran my TiVo back, and it's about a CIA official being fired yesterday
for disclosing classified information to a reporter.

Mitchell suggests that it was for leaking the info about the Black Ops prisons to Dana Priest.

She won the Pulitzer this week for that story.

10. One more CIA official "coming out from the black" to
speak openly to the American people. Sorry about his career but good news for the citizens.

18. This is bound to have a chilling effect on the rest of the agents.
Or maybe they'll resign and spill the beans.

Plame Grand Jury Meeting Today - Is Rove Next?

by Steve Soto
According to ABC News’ The Note,http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/TheNote/story?id=156238 Patrick Fitzgerald has already convened the latest Plame grand jury this morning, at 9:30 AM. Atrios http://atrios.blogspot.com/2006_04_16_atrios_archive.ht... and ThinkProgress http://thinkprogress.org/2006/04/21/msnbcs-shuster-sign... / noted that last night on Keith Olbermann’s “Countdown”, MSNBC’s David Shuster reported that there are signs that Fitzgerald has now focused on an indictment of Karl Rove, confirming a story that Jason Leopold had at Truthout.org earlier this week.

MSNBC’s Shuster: Signs Point To Rove Indictment
Last night, MSNBC’s David Shuster took a look at recent court filings by special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald and suggests that Karl Rove is likely to be indicted. Watch it:

Three key points made by Shuster:

1. The latest court documents, for the first time, name Rove as a subject of the investigation.

2. The court documents go out of their way to say that Rove will not be called as a witness in Scooter Libby’s trial, even though Rove is a key part of the narrative. Shuster notes that this is done when prosecutors want to “leave open the possibility of later charging that particular subject in a separate case.”

3. Rove is referred in court documents as “Official A.” Shuster says “in every single case we have found, Keith, that prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald when he designates somebody as Official A in an indictment, that person eventually does get indicted themselves.”

I think I read this on Atrios site too...

12. In talking about this new news, mention was made of the fact that no one
in the CIA has been arrested for leaking about Plame. This was a rare reminder from MSNBC.

The Brewster-Jennings (some call it the Plame) leak is three years old.

Three + years ago, a CIA undercover operation focusing on wmd trafficking was blown. There has been no White House or CIA cooperation that came willingly. What has been given has only been given by force of law.

It is interesting that many people write that Cheney is involved in nuclear parts and equipment trafficking. The question the nation should be asking is - did he shut down Brewster-Jennings? Maybe not?
