Neil Young Posts Lyrics of his new Anti-War Anti-Bush Songs

It is no longer a rumor. Neil Young has completed his new album, featuring a set of powerful anti-war and anti-Bush songs. He has just posted the lyrics of 3 of the songs on his website.

My favorites so far:

"Back in the days of shock and awe. History was the cruel judge of overconfidence."

In the song "Shock and Awe", he sings "Both sides are losing now."

In another song "I never follow the laws of the thought police."

Neil is a prophet once again.

6. I've always loved Neil, but....

I must say I was a tad disappointed he didn't come out in full force for Kerry in '04. He like alot of other people didn't step to the plate when they were needed the most. Bruce really stepped up to the plate and got my full respect. Now that everything is in the shitter, everyone has something to say, like I'm supposed to just forget they weren't there when there was actually something that could've been done. All the country stars, the retired generals and the fukiyumas of the world can kiss my ass tuckus!!!!
