Hunter Thompson's words remain all too relevant
"Richard Nixon looks like a flaming liberal today, compared to a golem like George Bush. Indeed. Where is Richard Nixon now that we finally need him?"

"Nixon was a professional politician and I despised everything he stood for -- but if he were running for president this year against the evil Bush-Cheney gang, I would happily vote for him."

"Bush is a natural-born loser with a filthy-rich daddy who pimped his son out to rich oil-mongers. He hates music, football and sex, in no particular order, and he is no fun at all."

"We are turning into a nation of whimpering slaves to Fear -- fear of war, fear of poverty, fear of random terrorism, fear of getting down-sized or fired because of the plunging economy, fear of getting evicted for bad debts, or suddenly getting locked up in a military detention camp on vague charges of being a Terrorist sympathizer."

"If we get chased out of Iraq with our tail between our legs, that will be the fifth consecutive Third-world country with no hint of a Navy or an Air Force to have whipped us in the past 40 years."

"Bush is a natural-born loser with a filthy-rich daddy who pimped his son out to rich oil-mongers."
This pretty much summarizes George W, Bush.

15. He hates music???? Damn, but that really Does say it all
I've only heard of one other person I kinda knew who said she didn't like music. When she said that, I decided to give her a VERY Wide berth.

Nobody has to like all music, they're free to even hate some music and love others without reason, but to hate all music, you have to have NO Soul, No Lifeforce, No Passion at all. Ugh.

Figures he'd hate sex. I leave it to the sports nuts to bash him about hating football.

16. I also appreciated that he said in that article
that he would do whatever he could short of roaming the streets with a meat hammer to get his friend John Kerry elected. Quite the endorsement if you ask me.

Apparently John kept threatening to make Hunter his VP. Now THAT would have been a great ticket.
