Dear Washington, D.C. Monuments Commission. I would like to submit a design for the future George W. Bush Monument. It should be built out of the finest granite, so that it may forever symbolize the Bush legacy. Here is my design:

6. Let's tattoo all the names on Bush's skin
so he has to see the names of all the people he killed every day of the rest of his miserable life. Call that his monument.

2. Hahahahahahaha...
Don't jump the gun though. It very well may go even lower, and we want the monument to accurately reflect his presidency. ;-)

4. how about some removable blocks?
Park employees could pull some of them out during the day, until the monument totters and collapses, leaving Bush's popularity ratings in ruins. To my knowledge, this would be the first ever moving, interactive memorial. (Okay, so Old Faithful does change from moment to moment, but this would be in its own league.)

It should be a big hit with the tourists -- don't forget your video camera!

18. The monument needs a visual of the inside of the bowl and the
turd we couldn't flush.

7. Whatever design is selected, it should be mounted on a base...
with a hinge so it can be repeatedly pulled down, like once a day.

Something like this:

12. A big pit in the ground that you throw money and soldiers into.
And every four years, the Supreme Court would get together and vote to keep the pit in place.

20. I think he deserves a monument as big and as grand
... as he can build with his own two hands. I'll be glad to chip in to buy him the bricks and mortar, each brick inscribed with the name of a 'Coilition' military who was killed or an Iraqi or Afghani who was killed as a result of his regime's Crimes Against Peace and War Crimes.

I don't particularly care if he works on the monument 12-16 hours/day. It must, however, meet the same building codes that any construction must meet.

22. How about a nude statue of Little Boots--
--with what might be called, hmm, anatomically correct private parts...and here's the kicker: the phallus will magically seem to be pissing, much like statues of Jesus bleed magically in the right places...and his followers can come to the statue, see Dubya peeing away, and call out, "it's a miracle!!!"...

that is, after making it a bit bigger and putting a couple oil tanks at the base
