Adjusted for inflation, the federal minimum wage has fallen 42% since its peak in 1968.
If the hourly $5.15 minimum wage had risen at the same rate as CEO compensation since 1990, it would now stand at $23.03

is a fool. 87% of the people in this country think the minimum wage needs to rise--a lot. Removing the legal way for chepass employers to exploit illegal aliens and poor Americans alike will solve the former pretty quickly, as most employers would prefer workers they can talk to without an interpreter.
The wedge issue is WAGES. The GOP has nothing to counter it. Ignore the social bullshit. Talk about PAY. That's the way to win.
