Did you hear Atlanta Airport shut down for bomb scare Wed?
My Dad was telling me about this. Apparently there was a problem at one of the screening stations and the entire airport was shut down for he thought 4 hours (I saw a story that said 90 minutes.) The point is, as far as I can tell, this story didn't register at all on the national news. I would think that shutting down a major hub airport for any reason would merit at least a passing mention. So did I miss the story or did it get ignored/censored?

2. After several hub stops at the Atlanta airport, I'm not sure I could tell
the difference between its being officially shut down and the way it's run ordinarily.

A brain-numbing, Coke-corroded nightmare.

3. Yep. It was on the cable networls and the local news here in GA.
They temporarily evacuated the people in the terminal screeening area (I'm not sure about the people at gates and workers in other areas.) There was something suspicious in a bag in the x-ray scanner machine.

6. See - that proves it's my fault!
I use the DU to check the MSM and I missed your posts. It's the fact that I hadn't even seen anything hewre that really had me wondering about the story. My Mom and Dad keep CNN on a lot during the day so if a story breaks at all, they'll hear about it.

7. CNN is in ATL so they should have had the lead on it. But who knows
the Conservative News Network may still have been wiping the brown of their noses. If you know what I'm sayin.

8. Yeah, I saw that.
Don't know whatever came about from it. I saw it quick on the news then I had to go to work and never heard anything else about it.
