CIA worker dismissed over leaks

The CIA has sacked an employee for leaking secret information to the media, an agency official said.

The employee was dismissed after a three-month long investigation into recent leaks, a CIA spokesman said.

The agency was rocked by reports in November that the US was housing terror suspects at "secret jails" abroad.

"The damage has been very severe to our capabilities to carry out our mission," Mr Goss said.

And i can understand why you would want to keep something like this a secret, these types of missions our not in americas best interest.

How dumb do theses people think we are? Perhaps the new congress will bring the guy Mr. Goss fired to testify in front of congress after the November elections.
