What is the price of gasoline in Europe?
Because they were already paying $3.00 plus back when we were paying only 1.50 per gallon? Have the prices gone up in Europe also? Or just in America? Any Europeans out there?

6. Yeah, them ferners don't know how to calculate..they base everything
on 10..silly ferners. Why do that when you can base everything on something different for every differtent type of measure...pints..quarts..gallons/feet..yards..miles/ounces..pounds..grosses. etc?

3. It's gone up a little but not very much.
My son lives in Sicily. I asked him about it a few weeks ago. He's paying around 6.50 euro. It's still higher than here, BUT the Italians put a very large tax on their gasoline and pay health care, road repair and a lot of other things with the money.

19. I want to know how much they pay in China
Because I'm guessing our high prices are subsidizing their low prices.

22. I don't claim to know how it works..
But I do know drug dealers give you a good deal at first to get you hooked. Not to mention the Chinese can't afford expensive gas yet, but they still need it.

It's probably run just like the Pharmaceutical industry.

27. Gas in China = $2.20 USD / gallon
As of April 19th, at 4.65 yuan/liter

However, China artifically manages the value of their currency, so this makes meaningful conclusions more difficult.

General rule of thumb: No oil-importing nation has cheaper gas than the US.

25. Broadly speaking we always pay at least twice what you do.
Tax and duty have not increased much if at all for a year or so because when the government attempted to do the road transport guys came out in force and ran rolling road blocks down the motorways and also made it clear they could if necessary gridlock London, Now that's what you call an effective protest if you wanna take a leaf out of our book.
