10. Dear Dr Dean - Let me make a pledge for the coming year - I will

donate $50 for each Democratic Senator voting to:

• (1) prevent Alito from leaving committee and coming to a floor vote
  
• (2) an additional $20 for each Democratic Senator who votes No on his confirmation should he make it to a floor vote and
  
• (3) an additional $20 for each Senator (D or R) who votes to sustain a filabuster against Alito's confirmation.
  

Upon the final voting, we'll total this up and break it into nine equal payments (so you'll have it prior to the elections in November. In this manner, I'll be supporting those who I feel represent me and the values that make me a member of the Democratic Party.
