About Alito's wife in that goddawful Aqua colored outfit |
|
Does anyone else might think that was done purposely as a distraction to keep anyone from watching Alito's face too closely? There has to be a reason she wore that thing.:puke:

and I noticed they all looked smug to me. I never really got to see the boy's face well but the others they showed and they all had this smug "I'm better than you are" look on their face. Gave me the willies. The girl reminded me of the junior high/high school preps who only talked and hanged out with their type.

|
they're all drugged out of their minds to keep them from slitting their wrists. Being married to a hypocritical gas-bag like Altio would be enough to make any woman "take the bridge". Laura has the exact same expression on her face as well. They all have it, that "stepford wife" smile. None of them are ever very far from their "little magic bottle" of pills. Can you blame them?

they have been led to believe that Kennedy is a murderer, I know it was a tragic accident, but with brainless wonders like this, it doesn't take a great deal of influence to get these (Morans) to fall in line. Just push a few culture buttons,...it never stops

I saw it, myself. Her hubby looked right at Kennedy at all times when they were engaged in Q&A together. Her eyes were far off to either the left or right. She would never look where Scalito was looking. Freaky.
The caller was absolutely right.

It happened when Kennedy started questioning Alito about the strip search of the 10 year old girl. That was the point at which she shut down, and turned from a friendly appearing, albeit smug, smiling spouse, to a hostile sideliner. Obviously, this is a very sensitive issue for these Pukes.

It was easy to tell. Scalito looked at the questioner. Follow his eyes and you can see she's looking in a completely different direction, herself. It was so blatant as to make me just howl with laughter.

|
their hubbies want them to look old fashioned, yet feminine in a 1870's kind of way. Then their hubbies go out with Abramoff to his penthouse "office" and get it on with 16 year old hookers. You know, a typical conservative night on the town. Then, come Sunday, at church they'll be crying, "oh god, oh god" but for an entirely different reason. ;) Hypocrites all. Of course "wifie" is expected to stay home with the children, bake bread and wear hideous antebellum frocks in order to suggest an air of conservatism. :puke: It's enough to make you sick! :puke:

Who gives a rat's ass about what Alito's wife is wearing. Why do these threads always end up seeming a bit sexist. She's clueless about fashion. Big f-ing deal. I spend a lot of time on Capitol Hill and I can assure that there are plenty of Democrats (and their spouses) that don't exactly win the best dressed award.
Oh well, can't say I'm surprised, but at least let the record show that at least one DUer thinks these kinds of threads ought to be beneath us.

and I think it's a pretty nifty suit. It must be very hard sitting behind your husband knowing you're being captured on camera without reacting overtly to hostile questions directed toward him. I couldn't do it. She's doing a lot better than I would under the circumstances. And, no, I don't want him confirmed but she's got nothing to do with the major issues under review. HE was nominated and she's just along for the ride.
The only trivial thing I've wondered about is his red tie - is that the same one he wore yesterday? Is red his favorite color, the color of his party or was that tie left on the chair beside his bed and he just hastily threw it on...again?
