A large, earth mover-type of construction equipment rolled at a construction site in Colorado Springs Tuesday morning, killing one person. He has now been identified as Larry James McCollum. Colorado Springs Fire Department Lt. James Eddy said, "It appears they were grading that area with the compacter and it hit an area that was too much of an angle and it rolled over onto its side."

The construction site is at 655 Space Center Dr. Colorado Springs Fire Department Lt. Julie Stone said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The 911 call was received at 9:16 am.

OSHA is in charge of the investigation into what caused the accident.

3. Why so many all of a sudden?
Or have we just not been hearing about them?

4. Yep

Even I never looked into it until after the New York story. Then it started popping up in the OSHA posts.

5. It's like when someone gets diagnosed with a disease that they never heard of.
Within a month, they know a dozen people with the same thing. Much going around us that we are not aware of.
