Eric Lee: Dramatic struggle by Russian miners - appeal for help

If you are having trouble viewing this message, please go to http://community.icontact.com/p/labourstart/newsletters/inside.

Earlier this month, nearly 100 miners struck underground at the "Red Riding Hood" mines in the North Ural region of Russia.

Their dramatic action, backed by local residents, compelled management to agree to talk to the workers' representatives.

But then the company changed its mind, prompting dozens of the miners to go on hunger strike.

Those workers are now calling for international support, asking us to take a moment to send a loud and clear message to the company management from around the world.

Please do so by clicking here:

Spread the word!

Thank you.

Eric Lee
