7:22 p.m. Guam - The United States Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) fined Guam-based High Rock Construction over $135,000 for allegedly breaking safety requirements at two job sites in the last five months.

Safety and Health Manager James Wulff said OSHA also found that High Rock Construction is a repeat offender of these violations.

High Rock has 15 days to appeal the citations or request for an informal conference with OSHA representatives. Wulff said OSHA will continue to make its presence known and ensure workers are safe, especially with all the construction projects planned for the impending military build-up.
