Stillwater Mining Reach Tentative Deal With USW International Union On New Contract - Quick Facts

6/22/2007 8:04:25 PM Stillwater Mining Co. (SWC) on Friday said that it had reached a tentative agreement with USW International Union on a new contract. The Union will be holding contract explanation meetings to explain the changes in the tentative agreement on June 25 & 26, 2007.

The company and union believe the tentative agreement is a fair and equitable agreement and that negotiations were handled in a professional, fair and diplomatic manner.

Union members will vote on the contract June 25 & 26, 2007 from 12:00 pm (noon) until 9:00 pm. The vote will be tallied at the end of balloting.
