1. Shortly after bush came into power...
he called for restrictions on imported steel. But shortly thereafter, he decided that there was no need to restrict any imports of Chinese steel, or any other foreign steel for that matter. He was trying to destroy the Steelworkers Union. How do I arrive at this conclusion? I am a former member of the Steelworkers and we fought hard to limit imports of cheap foreign steel.
