Communications Workers of America President Larry Cohen,
Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato, and via
teleconference, Reps. Jason Altmire and Mike Doyle

WHAT: Kick-Off Event for Western Pennsylvania Jobs with Justice

WHEN: 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2007

WHERE: United Steelworkers headquarters
Five Gateway Center (corner of Stanwix and Boulevard of
the Allies)
Pittsburgh, PA 15222

WHY: Local labor, religious and other groups are launching the
newest chapter of Jobs with Justice in a kick-off event in
Pittsburgh. Jobs with Justice is a national worker rights
and economic justice organization with locations in over
40 cities in the United States. The local chapter will
bring together a coalition of organizations and
individuals to fight for decent standards of living,
freedom from discrimination, collective bargaining rights
and other issues central to Western Pennsylvania workers.

I am from Western Pa, myself, the hardest workers in the Universe, what a good starting place for a national movement for workers
rights and economic justice.
