w/ exception of perhaps a break or two.
Issue: Union Activists for Flight Attendants addressing extreme long duty hours, hence extreme fatigue.

For those wondering: air carriers in recent years have furloughed thousands of cabin crew/pilots and piled on the excess duty hours to an overworked skeleton staff. While pilots have been more successful with curbing their duty hours, the duty hours for Flight attendants have been brutal.

Extreme fatigue and bad working environment (low oxygen levels) are health hazards that we are trying to expose to public awareness and regulatory commissions.

IF YOU ARE IN THE DC area, please drop me a line if you would like to stop by and say hello, discuss politics, have some coffee.
I would love to see a fellow DUer and have an idea exchange-rap session. I will be there from 3p.m. the 7th (Wed) until 8 a.m. (Thurs)
Location is FAA bldg 800 Independence Ave SW

1. How did today go?
It doesn't sound good for the controllers.

2. Was not good for the ATC. A few of them joined our picket line and
a couple of them camped out with us in front of the FAA last night. I will post more on this later. but their congressional outcome was bleak.
The WH strong armed the repukes to vote against this because they would have vetoed any passing. This is a tough tough time for unions.

I arrived back at noon and I am beat. I will post more on this later.
