CWA And UAW Support Steelworkers Against Flood Of Chinese Tire Imports

The Communications Workers of America and the United Auto Workers are supporting the United Steel Workers in urging President Obama to impose tariffs and import quotas on Chinese made tires. The U.S. International Trade Commission ruled that a surge in Chinese import tires is harming the domestic tire industry. It’s costing American jobs. USW President Leo Gerard says 46 million Chinese tires enter the U.S. market each year. The USW represents 15,000 tire workers at 13 plants in nine states.

I can't imagine why anyone with any sense at all would buy anything from China, if they could help it. After all the scams they have pulled, it's just goofy to put their crap on your car. I now check everything I buy and I don't care if it costs a little more.
