Are illegals humans?

OK, so this asshat Representative from South Carolina yelled at Obama that he was lying about covering health care for illegals. In other words, Obama said that the proposals would not provide health insurance for illegal immigrants.

Well, I for one have no problem with proving health care for "illegals". We provide free health care for people on death row. How can we do that and then say that we are not going to provide care for sick and injured people that are just trying to work to support themselves and their families?

Should they enter the country legally and become fully documented? Yes. However, many of these "illegals" have fake SSN's. They pay taxes. All of them, fake documents or not, purchase goods in America and thus pay some taxes.

Bottom line: When able, we should feed people who are hungry. When able, we should heal people who are sick. When able, we should care for the elderly, the young, and the injured.

Making these things into something political makes me sick.

1. Yes, but if we treat illegal aliens, how do we expect them to spread flu viruses?

I mean, keeping grandma alive is expensive.

We HAVE to refuse to treat illegal aliens with flu symptoms, so that when they empty the trash bins at the nursing homes, they can get grandma sick, so she will die of the flu, and we can stop insuring her.

working here without a work permit. You are right, not only are they paying payroll taxes, but they are also paying sales taxes and gasoline and property taxes by default in using public transportation and renting.
