Posted: 1:52 PM- The operator of Little Caesar's Pizza restaurants in Utah has been fined more than $110,000 for alleged child labor violations.
Caesars Utah paid the penalty following a federal investigation. It was alleged the violations had been committed at a restaurant location in Sandy.
KUTV says the U.S. Department of Labor claims the violations included employees between the ages of 14 and 17.
In some cases, the teens were purportedly operating mechanical dough mixing machines. Federal law requires them to be at least 18 years of age.
