United Steel Workers President Leo Gerard says his union isn’t giving up on getting healthcare reform for working people that really matters. He told MSNBC’s Ed Shultz he’s mad as hell at the insurance company Democrats trying to gut the reform by removing the public option.

: “I'm angry at what I call the insurance company Democrats, and we've got more than Joe Lieberman. Joe Lieberman is now at the corner of it, but just a few days ago it was Ben Nelson. Before that it was Blanche Lincoln. The House has got a good bill. Hopefully it's gonna have to go to committee. We're gonna fight like crazy to make sure that we get a good bill. I'm not prepared to give up."
