Workers are rallying today at a Momentive Performance Materials plant in Waterford, N.Y. today in solidarity with 400 workers who took an average wage cut of 25 percent a year ago. Jesse Russell has more.

The workers are represented by the IUE-CWA Local 81359 and the union has filed complaints regarding the wage cuts with the National Labor Relations Board. Some workers have claimed that wages were cut as deep as 50 percent. The company did restore the wages for 350 workers who were forced to take a 7.5 percent pay cut in early 2009, but according to the Capital District Area Labor Federation more than 400 workers are still fighting for a reversal of the 25 percent pay cut.

2.  I found we were OD at the bank.
I have stated before we have taken a 45% pay decrease since 2002.
Actually in 'real' money we have taken 75% since 1990.
We forgot phone bill, it carries a late payment now we are in the hole for god knows how long.
We have done everything we could, from shutting off the central heat to growing food.
We just cannot make it and the damned banksters get another bonus out of our taxes.
This is ridiculous.
I have other bills that are now going to be late(and fees), not enough food in the house and we have his, and his moms meds to buy, fortunately my meds are cov
I know there are others that are worse off than we are. We have been coping like this since the downsizing started in the 80s. It is getting really old. We tighten the belt and we get hit again, we find some equilibrium and we get hit again.

3. We are supposed to be happy
in the knowledge that for every 25 or so people placed in your predicament, an investment banker can buy a Ferrari.

Vote republican and make it 50 to 1
